In addition, the building has a highly thermal and acoustic insulation. The computerized heating is underfloor, and there is a centralized ventilation system, keeping air clean, tempered and continuously fresh without loosing heat. This all helped meet the building standards of Klimahaus A for the apartment. Thus, all the fixtures are also soundproof (-42 dB).

The building materials were chosen to align with the local environment and resources. For example, red fir was sourced from nearby forests, and Scots pine was obtained within 60 km, reducing transportation impact. Hence, in the living room a rustic yet modern wooden light panel has an interesting history, originating from a decorative panel in a farmhouse that is over 150 years old.
